Description
Fun and easy Halloween treat made with chocolate cake mix cookie cups filled with gooey green frosting.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- Green frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Edible decorations (sprinkles or candy eyes)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin by either greasing it or using paper liners.
- Combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and oil in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookie cups cool in the pan for about five minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Create a small indentation in the center of each cookie cup using the back of a spoon — this is where your green frosting will go!
- Fill the indentation generously with the green frosting, and then add your edible decorations for that extra Halloween flair.
Notes
For an added twist, consider incorporating mini chocolate chips or Halloween-themed candies into the batter for an unexpected crunch.
